Of Bjd Fashion: Felt Doll-Sized Purses

As part of her ongoing challenge, Anna has made some lovely new accessories for Usagi and myself.

This first purse is a simple shoulder bag adorn with a sweet ribbon bow.  It is perfect for daily use.

The second bag is a bit larger.  Anna refers to it as a “messenger bag”.  Strange as that is, the pleasant blue color with the contrasting white bow is a treat to my acrylic eyes.

And here’s another simple little purse.  The delicate lace and detailing on the strap is lovely.  Sadly the small size isn’t the most practical.  Just large enough for the bare essentials.

(Hikaru, most of the stuff you wear isn’t considered “practical”.  And technically anything either of you need to carry can fit in your doll bag, purses are optional.)

Now here is the wonderful handbag Anna made for me.  It is perfection itself.  The elegant structure, the beautiful lace, even the stitching on the strap, it’s all simply divine.

And this white purse, covered with lace, it is absolutely gorgeous.  It would be perfect for special occasions.

So overall, I am very pleased with these delightful bags.  Anna put much effort into designing and sewing them.

Being ever generous, Anna also made a lovely video tutorial.  Now other dolls and their humans will be able to have lovely new purses as well.

May you find the video supremely useful.

  1. Very sweet, I loved dolls so much when I was young and always made clothes for them.

Pleasant comments are always welcome and appreciated.

But please, no anti-doll comments. They are unnecessary and a bit rude. We understand that some people find dolls creepy or weird, but this is a "doll blog" that is intended for those who enjoy dolls. If you dislike dolls that much, don't waste your time reading doll blogs.
